As you most certainly know, preparations for the FENS Forum 2022 taking place from 9-13 July in Paris, France, are already well under way. We are planning for a big, in-person, live celebration of neuroscience at FENS2022, with all the great attributes of a FENS Forum, although we are of course taking all scenarios into consideration.
The success of the Forum very much depends on the quality of the symposia and workshops, which are a key ingredient for an enticing Forum programme. A cutting-edge scientific programme is crucial to attract our fellow scientists and the global neuroscience community.
For this important step, we need your help and support.
We have prepared a number of customised promotional tools and I hope very much that FENS can rely on your support in promoting the FENS Forum 2022, and specifically the Call for symposia and workshop proposals, among your colleagues, students, fellow scientists and within your professional network.
On the FENS Forum 2022 website, you will find a promotional toolkit, which provides an easy link to materials that may help to spread the word about the Forum and the call for symposia and workshops.
You can also share some social media posts promoting the call on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.

There are many ways in which we can all contribute to the success of the Forum, including:
- Sharing the important dates and deadlines with your colleagues and encouraging them to contribute
- Forwarding the latest dedicated mailings and FENS News Alerts to your institutions, labs or your professional network mailing lists
- Using FENS Forum 2022 PowerPoint slides at your upcoming lectures or society meeting
- Placing the banner and/or using the short text below (1) in your lab or institution’s newsletter or news section
- Using the banner with the link to the Forum website (http://www.fens.org/2022) on your events calendar or society website
- Adding links to the FENS social media channels to your email signature (2)
